Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SAE1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SAE1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher SAE1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SAE1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ACC, COAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where SAE1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
