Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SACM1L mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SACM1L data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher SACM1L mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SACM1L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and OV show a favorable association.

GBM, HNSC, and OV are the cancer types where SACM1L mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
