Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SAA2-SAA4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SAA2-SAA4 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher SAA2-SAA4 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SAA2-SAA4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and LUSC show a favorable association.
KIRC, LGG, and BRCA are the cancer types where SAA2-SAA4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.

Ranked by sampling consensus. AUC1 and AUC2 indicate survival in the high- and low-expression groups, respectively; the lower AUC marks the poorer-surviving group. p-values are from the log-rank test.
