Across TCGA patient cohorts, S100PBP protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4,713 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible S100PBP-associated genes across cancer lineages are AKR1E2, SEPTIN7P9, and AKR1C2. Each is linked with S100PBP in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both S100PBP-to-partner and partner-to-S100PBP results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, S100PBP versus AKR1E2 in UCEC, with a Pearson correlation of -0.44.
