Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, S100A9 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 20,516 significant associations in total. HNSC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible S100A9-associated genes across cancer lineages are S100A8, S100A12, and APOBEC3A. Each is linked with S100A9 in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both S100A9-to-partner and partner-to-S100A9 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, S100A9 versus S100A8 in BRCA, with a Pearson correlation of 0.69.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (S100A9→partner) and Y-score (partner→S100A9) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
