Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, S100A6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated S100A6 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher S100A6 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated S100A6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC are the cancer types where S100A6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
