Across TCGA patient cohorts, S100A6 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 6,435 significant associations in total. PDAC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible S100A6-associated genes across cancer lineages are AHNAK, S100A10, and S100A5. Each is linked with S100A6 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both S100A6-to-partner and partner-to-S100A6 results are reported.
