Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, S100A14 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated S100A14 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher S100A14 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated S100A14 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, SKCM, and PRAD are the cancer types where S100A14 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
