Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, S100A10 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated S100A10 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher S100A10 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated S100A10 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and THYM show a favorable association.

HNSC, LIHC, and LUAD are the cancer types where S100A10 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
