Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, S100A10 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated S100A10 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher S100A10 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated S100A10 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LUSC, and LIHC are the cancer types where S100A10 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
