Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RYR2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RYR2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher RYR2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RYR2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.

KIRP, UCEC, and BLCA are the cancer types where RYR2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
