Across TCGA patient cohorts, RXRG protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 86 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RXRG-associated genes across cancer lineages are F9, KCNK4, and BPIFA1. Each is linked with RXRG in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RXRG-to-partner and partner-to-RXRG results are reported.
