Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RTP4 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RTP4 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher RTP4 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RTP4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as MESO and BLCA show a favorable association.

MESO, BLCA, and SKCM are the cancer types where RTP4 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
