Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RTN4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RTN4 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher RTN4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RTN4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
CESC, LUSC, and ESCA are the cancer types where RTN4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
