Across TCGA patient cohorts, RTL5 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 42 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RTL5-associated genes across cancer lineages are eEF2, MEK1, and ASNS. Each is linked with RTL5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RTL5-to-partner and partner-to-RTL5 results are reported.
