Across TCGA cell cohorts, RTL5 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 8 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RTL5-associated genes across cancer lineages are PNMA6F, TAAR6, and OR5P3. Each is linked with RTL5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RTL5-to-partner and partner-to-RTL5 results are reported.
