Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RTL10 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RTL10 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher RTL10 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RTL10 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KICH, LIHC, and SKCM are the cancer types where RTL10 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
