Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RTF1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RTF1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher RTF1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RTF1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC show a favorable association.
HNSC, LSCC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where RTF1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
