Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RTCB Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RTCB data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher RTCB Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RTCB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
STAD, PRAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where RTCB Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
