Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RSC1A1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RSC1A1 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher RSC1A1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RSC1A1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC show a favorable association.

SCLC are the cancer types where RSC1A1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
