Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RRM2B RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RRM2B data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher RRM2B RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RRM2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and COAD show a favorable association.

KIRC, UVM, and COAD are the cancer types where RRM2B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
