Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RRAS2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RRAS2 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher RRAS2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RRAS2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and CHOL show a favorable association.
HNSC, ACC, and PAAD are the cancer types where RRAS2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
