Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPSAP64 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPSAP64’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where RPSAP64 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPSAP64 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LIHC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
COAD, LUSC, and LIHC are the cancer types where RPSAP64 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
