Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPS6KC1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RPS6KC1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher RPS6KC1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPS6KC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC show a favorable association.

LSCC, HNSC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where RPS6KC1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
