Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPS6KA6 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RPS6KA6 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher RPS6KA6 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPS6KA6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LSCC are the cancer types where RPS6KA6 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
