Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPS6KA1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RPS6KA1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher RPS6KA1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPS6KA1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, LUSC, and SARC are the cancer types where RPS6KA1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
