Across TCGA patient cohorts, RPS4X protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 12,581 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RPS4X-associated genes across cancer lineages are FCGR3B, CXCR1, and CXCR2. Each is linked with RPS4X in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RPS4X-to-partner and partner-to-RPS4X results are reported.
