Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPS3AP33 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPS3AP33’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where RPS3AP33 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPS3AP33 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as COAD and UCEC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
COAD, UCEC, and KIRP are the cancer types where RPS3AP33 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
