Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPS28 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RPS28 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher RPS28 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPS28 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and LUAD show a favorable association.

PDAC, CCRCC, and COAD are the cancer types where RPS28 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
