Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPS20P9 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPS20P9’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where RPS20P9 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPS20P9 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as CHOL show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LUAD, LUSC, and ESCA are the cancer types where RPS20P9 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
