Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPS20P5 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPS20P5’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where RPS20P5 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPS20P5 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as STAD show the opposite, repressed pattern.

STAD, LUAD, and KIRC are the cancer types where RPS20P5 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
