Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPS20P15 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 4 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPS20P15’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where RPS20P15 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPS20P15 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUAD and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LIHC, LUAD, and THCA are the cancer types where RPS20P15 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
