Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPS16P9 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 7 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPS16P9’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where RPS16P9 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPS16P9 is over-expressed in tumor.
COAD, HNSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where RPS16P9 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
