Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPS16 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RPS16 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher RPS16 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPS16 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA, SKCM, and ACC are the cancer types where RPS16 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
