Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPS13 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RPS13 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher RPS13 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPS13 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and UCEC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, COAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where RPS13 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
