Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPS12 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RPS12 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher RPS12 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPS12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
GBM and CHOL are the cancer types where RPS12 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
