Across TCGA patient cohorts, RPS12 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 14,628 significant associations in total. PDAC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RPS12-associated genes across cancer lineages are FCGR3B, CXCR1, and CLEC4E. Each is linked with RPS12 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RPS12-to-partner and partner-to-RPS12 results are reported.
