Across TCGA patient cohorts, RPRML mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10 significant associations in total. HNSC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RPRML-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU6-1183P, MIR4316, and SNORD115-3. Each is linked with RPRML in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RPRML-to-partner and partner-to-RPRML results are reported.
