Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPP25 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 13 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPP25’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where RPP25 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPP25 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and KIRC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
STAD, BLCA, and THCA are the cancer types where RPP25 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
