Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPP21 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RPP21 data layer compared with 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher RPP21 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPP21 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and READ show a favorable association.
BLCA, KIRC, and ACC are the cancer types where RPP21 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
