Across TCGA patient cohorts, RPL9 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 11,473 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RPL9-associated genes across cancer lineages are CSF3R, CXCR1, and BCL2A1. Each is linked with RPL9 in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RPL9-to-partner and partner-to-RPL9 results are reported.
