Across TCGA cell cohorts, RPL8 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,267 significant associations in total. BONE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RPL8-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Central nervous system morphogenesis, U4 snRNA 3'-end processing, and Macroautophagy. Each is linked with RPL8 in more than 13 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RPL8-to-partner and partner-to-RPL8 results are reported.
