RPL7P43

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL7P43 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPL7P43’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where RPL7P43 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPL7P43 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

THCA, HNSC, and KIRP are the cancer types where RPL7P43 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
