Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL7P31 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPL7P31’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where RPL7P31 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPL7P31 is over-expressed in tumor.
STAD, LUAD, and COAD are the cancer types where RPL7P31 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
