Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL7P28 RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RPL7P28 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher RPL7P28 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL7P28 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and BLCA show a favorable association.

SKCM, BLCA, and UVM are the cancer types where RPL7P28 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
