Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL7AP9 RNA is linked to patient survival in 12 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RPL7AP9 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher RPL7AP9 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL7AP9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and LIHC show a favorable association.

SKCM, READ, and LIHC are the cancer types where RPL7AP9 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
