Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL7AP33 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPL7AP33’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where RPL7AP33 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPL7AP33 is over-expressed in tumor.
LUSC, LUAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where RPL7AP33 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
