Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL5P7 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RPL5P7’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where RPL5P7 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RPL5P7 is over-expressed in tumor.
STAD, LUSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where RPL5P7 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
