Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL5P29 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RPL5P29 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher RPL5P29 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL5P29 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and READ show a favorable association.

BRCA, READ, and UCEC are the cancer types where RPL5P29 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
