Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RPL5P21 RNA is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RPL5P21 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher RPL5P21 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RPL5P21 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and LUAD show a favorable association.
LIHC, BRCA, and BLCA are the cancer types where RPL5P21 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
